Go direct to your Sam’s Club and ask for it. You shouldn’t need the voucher if you go in by the 29th. Call ahead of you want to double check. Ask for the manager if they don’t know what you’re talking about.
Would they put a credit on your account if you already paid your membership in August?
That’s a good question, but I don’t know. I would definitely call the number and ask!!!
Do you know if this will apply to a membership renewal? My membership expires this month and I’m currently 5 months pregnant.
Shanna, I don’t think it works on renewals and I am pretty sure you have to be a new member…but it is always worth asking 🙂
How will they check? Birth certificates, pregnancy lok? 😉

I’ve tried calling multiple times and it lets me get in but then when it transfers me it just gives me a busy type signal?
I have heard that it is extremely busy and has taken people several tries to get through.
I just hit 0 when the prompts came on and had to wait like 30 minutes. It worked, they said they will be mailing me my membership card, didn’t give me a membership # over the phone, but did give me a reference #
This sounds like such a great deal! Every time I call I select option #2 and then option #4 but I am given a busy signal and then the call disconnects on its own… Is that what is happening to others?
Lots of people are having issues with this – either waiting on hold forever or getting disconnected. Then I hear of others who are having no problems at all! Sorry, wish I could make it easier for everyone 🙁

I can get through to the automated menu, but once I make my selections and they try to transfer me to a representative, I get the “busy” signal and then the system hangs up. I expected a long hold time, but I’m not even able to get through and wait on hold. Is this other people’s experience as well?
Others are saying the same thing is happening to them. Many of them just keep trying and after time it has gone through. Just depends how long you want to wait? I am assuming they weren’t expecting this many people to respond, but its a good offer!!!
It took me 25 minutes on hold. I had to call back 3 times because I too was automatically disconnected after pushing #2 #4. On the 3rd attempt the call stayed active! Goodluck! Thanks for Sharing Danielle.
I called like 20 times before i got threw. But once i did i was on hold 20 minutes and finally talked to.customer rep. They didnt give me a membership nber though they said ill be receiving a voucher in the mail by oct 15 tp take that to my local sam’s club and ill get my free membership

MY CO WORKER AND I WERE CALLING ALL DAY AND SHE FINALLY GOT THROUGH, WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR A WHILE AND THEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND US A VOUCHER IN THE MAIL, BUT THE FIRST 100 TIMES WE JUST GOT THE BUSY SIGNAL

I got my card today!!!! * YOU HAVE TO GO IN THE STORE* At first the lady didn’t know what I was talking about but I explained to her I couldn’t get though on phone. I took photo & got my card right then & there! Super easy! Also after u get it download the Sam’s app on your phone, I got a rotisserie chkn, large pepperoni pizza, basket of grapes & 40 pck of bottled water ALL FREE!!!!! Totally worth it ladies!!!!!
I downloaded the app but there’s no specials besides their basic ones, how do you get the free stuff?
I just went in and got my membership, then came home and saw your comment. I downloaded the app but also only have the normal “instant savings” coupons showing up. Do you have to be in the store to get those deals? Or get those at the time you purchase the membership? Thanks!
Call directly to your local sams club and ask. I did for a friend and they’ll tell you what you need to do. Or, as mentioned, go to the desk and ask. Can always ask for the manager.
I tried calling (option #2, then #4), and also kept getting disconnected. So I just drove over and did it in person. Took 5 minutes to take my information, take my picture, and give me a card, active immediately. If you are able, I would definitely recommend going in in person- you’re going to have to go in later anyway, right? 😊 They did check a current ID for me, and I had my baby with me, but they didn’t ask for a birth certificate or anything. They also said I would be receiving in the mail the key code for the $80 of free baby product.
You can just email them at the customer service and tell them you could not get through. Leave your name, address, email, and phone number. I did this and they emailed me saying they are sending me a number in the mail and that I should receive it in the next couple of weeks. Then you just take it to your local Sam’s club to get your card.
Worked for me. Couldn’t get through on the phone so just went down there. Quick and easy. Thank you!

So upset I just found out bout this & I’m 3 weeks late.
For those that have YET to receive their membership #s or certificate that was supposed to be mailed to you, I called on 12/7/15 for my daughter and spoke to someone after about 20 minutes on hold. I used the 1-888-746-7726 Option 2 number and then pressed 1 instead of 4 like others. Still a 20 minute hold but I got hold of someone and asked them why she had not received the info in the mail as promised. They found her info and the Reference # (which if you called in prior to 9/29/15 you should have but I didn’t.) If you do, it will make things much easier. Anyway, after providing them with all the pertinent info, they did find it and I asked them why they could not just provide a membership number over the phone as others had received and that is exactly what they did (after another 15 minutes or so on the phone) but nevertheless, she now has a membership # to go in to her local Sam’s Club and pick up her new card. Happy Daughter and Happy Father. 🙂 Now she can come off my account and her mother can get a card. 🙂
