My Fun Road Trip
On of the things I miss the most about our time in the RV was the constant exploring of new things that we did as a family. We’ve seen so much of our country and it was truly a high point in my life.
This past week, we had a little “extra” time and decided to road trip over to one of our favorite areas – Gulfport & Biloxi, Mississippi.
We’d traveled here many times in our years on the road and it has a special place in our heart. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the beach while watching the sunrise. That was beautiful but super cold.
We also took a little trip to my favorite thrift store – America’s Thrift Store. I spent $40 and bought two pairs of roller blades, a Step 1 stepstool, lots of clothing, scarves, a HUGE pan, several pairs of Crocs for the boys and so much more!
Then we also took a quick detour to the kids favorite playground in Pascagoula, MS. It is BIG and they have a great time hiding from one another and playing tag. Matthew also enjoyed the baby swing time!
Most important, I loved the togetherness that a road trip brings. Many hours together in the car talking, singing and laughing just made my heart warm this week. I truly love every minute I get to spend with my family and encourage you to take a little extra time this weekend to cherish the ones you love as well.
