After my Facebook Live post updating you on my life, I felt so incredibly guilty! While all the e-mails and love you sent was amazing, I realized that I didn’t give credit to my family who has been amazing.
Several e-mails from you mentioned things like, “I don’t know how you do it all” and “You are a superwoman” and it occurred to me that I’ve given you the wrong impression of my life.
First of all, my husband is AMAZING! Truly just one of a kind.
While he’s always been an active part of the website by handling everything behind the scenes that I don’t understand, he has taken a bigger role in Freebies for a Cause since I’ve gotten sick. Now, he gets up before me every morning – organizes the deals for me, gives me a briefing when I get up and even posts many deals when he has time! He’s been pretty wonderful.
In addition to that, we still split the homeschooling responsibilities and he’s taken over getting a lot of the pictures I need for the website.
Just having him in my life is blessing enough, but that’s not all! I have two of the most amazing young ladies in my home. Brooke (13) does almost ALL our cooking. Not because we’ve asked her to but because she loves it! She doesn’t let us in the kitchen unless we absolutely bribe her. Every Saturday, we sit down together and make a meal plan for the week. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and snacks are all included and then she executes it! Flawlessly!
Bailey (11) is my little baby lover. She is constantly playing with the two little ones and keeping them occupied. On top of that, she has taken over most of the laundry in our home (which is A LOT!).
The reality is that I don’t do it all – and I don’t want to ever give off that impression. My life is possible because of those around me that are always working together to make our family team stronger and better.
Aside from that, thank you for ALL the love you’ve sent my way. You are a vital part of my life as well. You encourage, uplift and inspire me every day. I am so thankful we are friends.
